Kerri Walker is a trusted expert, national speaker, educator, and trainer on all aspects of Trauma, Trauma Informed Care, Intimate Partner Violence and Traumatic Brain Injury (IPV/TBI).
After experiencing a lifetime of trauma, and as a survivor of an abusive relationship that caused Traumatic Brain Injury, Kerri began working with survivors over 12 years ago. Her work began as an advocate, helping survivors and their families work through and move beyond their experiences in both Ohio and Phoenix, Arizona.
Her work at a large shelter in Phoenix grew from an advocate position to helping develop and run the shelter's Traumatic Brain Injury Collaborative program.
Since 2020, Kerri has become a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Life Coach and has been working with many leaders in the field of IPV/TBI.
Kerri launched her own organization in 2022 called Invisible Wounds: Healing from Trauma. This organization consists of her coaching services, a weekly podcast, YouTube channel, social media pages, speaking, educating, and training for any organization or group wanting to know more about these critical topics.
Kerri recently took a 2 day training for the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence Survivor Speaker's Bureau. She is also a member of the
Trauma Informed Care Network Speaker's Bureau.
Kerri's recent speaking engagements include opening a symposium for the Pathways Program in Chicago, Illinois called "Voices United: Brain Injury in Intimate Partner Violence - an Undiagnosed Threat."
